Ephesians 6:17

The apostle Paul, in describing the word of God, said: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

Yes, the word of God is sharp. The word of God will separate and divide families. The word of God will cause divsion between man and wife. The word of God will divide friends. It will divide brother and sister. It will divide father and son. It will divide mother and daughter and it will divide in-laws in the family. We know this to be true, not only by observing it with out own eyes, but Jesus Christ tells us whom it will divide.

In Matthew 10:35, 36 Jesus said, "For I am come to set a man at variance against his father and daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law agains her mother-in-law, and a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

The reason it divides is because some will accept the truth and others will not. Jesus said, "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).

The Son of God would rather this not happen in this way, but He is all powerful and knows the intent of the heart. He knows that most of the people on the earth will not accept His word and obey the gospel. The apostle Paul tells us this: "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:3, 4). His desire is that all will be saved.

For all people who do not accept Christ and His teachings and for those who continue to be BLIND FOLLOWERS OF BLIND LEADERS, and for those who are entangled in false religions, Christ tells us of their outcome.

Matthew 25:31–33: "When the Son of man shall come in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory and before Him shall be gathered all nations, and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. And He shall set the sheep on His right hand but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."

Will you be in the group on His right or in the group on His left?

To be in the goup chosen on His right, you will need to stop being a BLIND FOLLOWER OF BLIND LEADERS.
